Course length: 10 weeks (Please note that this course can be booked as an individual blocks of 5 sessions or as a full term of 10 sessions.
Block 1: 18/04/26 – 16/05/26 (5 consecutive Saturdays)
Block 2: 06/06/26 – 04/07/26 (5 consecutive Saturdays)
Time: 2:00pm – 5:00pm
This course will delve into blocking-in using the comparative method, composition, proportion, gesture, anatomy, value and edges, and medium handling. This course will be a mix of demonstration, practical work, and one-to-one feedback. Students can choose to draw or paint, but we recommend that beginners draw first as it will form a good foundation before moving onto colour and brush handling.
Numbers are limited to a maximum of 10 students to allow more time for individual feedback and guidance.

Please note; Unfortunately due to the nature and age of the building, there is no lift access and the studio is on the first floor and requires access via one set of stairs.
