Sharpen your portraiture skills by joining this weekly class which provides the opportunity for in-depth study of the fundamentals of portrait drawing and painting.
During the course we will cover everything from proportions and gesture to capturing likeness, colour, paint handling, composition, and you will receive multiple individual critiques to help build your skills and confidence whilst drawing and/or painting from life.
Through building a foundation in this way, you will develop a reliable method for approaching drawing and painting from life which should yield consistent results as you move forward.
All levels of experience are welcome and you can choose whether you draw or paint. For beginners drawing is recommended in order to gain a good understanding of the fundamentals before introducing colour.
